Description/reflection (body sculpture)

This is the sculpture that me and my partner made. We went outside and collected different natural objects like leaves and branches and then we joined them together so they could sit on my shoulders. I had an idea of wings or something that could move when I spun around. To the leaves, we added string and different materials like cloth to make it stand out more. When I spun everything moved with me.

It was quite challenging at first trying to think of something that could be a part of the boy but I think we made something that worked quite well. It's like wings but at the front instead. I think that maybe the image of wings isn't as clear as I would want it to be but I'm still happy with how it turned out with the time that we had. Working as a pair was good with this task because we combined our ideas together and it made it easier to come up with a final project. However, I think we could have gone more out there and if we had more time would have made a sculpture that portrayed our idea more and incorporated nature as well.
